I just got Instagram today, but I will only be using it to throw some great filtered photos on my Facebook. Anything that goes on dA went through extensive review via Photoshop, and some don't even make the cut through that. I despise people that consider themselves a "professional photographer" because their mommy and daddy bought them an iPhone and they discovered this new app Instagram. I started out the true old school way. I used a 35mm and developed my photos at Wal-Mart, hoping that some of them would be good enough for me to put in my scanner and upload to dA. That was way back in '04 though, and with this new age of "electronic comfort", all that priceless old timey photography is slipping away from the real people that can get addicted to something like that. The youth age. As much as I love it, I secretly hate it all as well. <end rant>
Well, strangely enough, my life spiraled downward since I last wrote. It's best to just come clean with you. I got kicked out of the Navy. There, I said it. i am now just another lousy civilian. My trouble basically began back in 2011. I was drinking alot. I mean alot alot. Superior recommended me for Alcohol rehab, I agreed. We had to go on deployment, couldn't do the rehab until March of 2012, then I overslept with two days left before I graduated from the Substance Abuse Rehab Program. And when I say overslept, I don't mean I went out, and got smashed and came home with two hours before class. I literally went to bed at 10 p.m. like a responsible adult and just didn't wake up when my alarm went off at 7 a.m. I told them I think I have a sleeping problem of some sort, but they just told me I'm lazy. Whatever. They processed me out immediately due to "Alcohol Rehabilitation Failure" [not because I wanted to fail assholes] and promptly shipped me and all my shit back to my mothers house. Which is where I still reside. A month and a half later. With no job and zero progress. Maybe I am a bit lazy. Oh well.
On a lighter note. In the past few days, I have received a new pet. He is a 9 week old Maine Coon Cat [mostly] and his name is Pterodactyl. I'm really just taking care of him until Gabby [~AlterniaStuck] arrives here [yes she's moving here eventually] and then he's hers, but unfortunately, I've had him for three or four days, and I'm kinda sorta already becoming pretty attached to this little furball. Sure he's got super claws, and he meows constantly if I leave him in the room by himself for more than two seconds. But he's so freakin' adorable! Ya just can't say no to this super cute purr-machine. Believe me. But... the agreement is. When Gabby gets here. I have to trade Pterodactyl for the puppy she got me. She's dachshund and something-or-other else. Best part is though, her name is Digit McSquirrel. How perfect is that!!? I know. It just is.
So that concludes my crazy out-of-date update for you-people-that-actually-pay-attention-to-me-even-though-I-haven't-been-uploading-anything-interesting. I kid. But seriously. I need to start dishing out some art. Better get on that. Or sleep. I like sleep too.
