My Lighter

This is my lighter, give it a click
Lights as quick as a candle wick
Burns through the air with such nice fire
Flickers in the space and does never tire

This is my lighter, dont touch the heat
A pain like no other will quickly feat
Over time a painful blister would open
And a scar will soon form on your skin

This is my lighter, it is always with me
Never leaves my pocket as you can see
I use it when I want to see the flame
Yet I know that the fire will never be tame
