White topped

This isn't a bad idea, however, it's too dark. It looks like you shot this on a grey day or when it was getting darker out. When shooting outside, be careful of the lighting. If need be, set your camera to a lower aperature (if it's a good one...point-and-shoots won't do this) and set it on a tripod. Avoid flash if you can. Here, it's just hard to separate the snow on the fence from the snow on the ground. Better lighting would allow for better contrast.
